MICROMASTER: When launched it was a gulf in class | virtual museum part 3
In this episode our service engineer Steve L. based in the UK, reflects on the both the opportunities and challenges of replacing MICROMASTER as customers start to say farewell to a trusted old friend and embrace the benefits offered by the new SINAMICS.

Even the simplest retrofit can pose a problem for the unprepared, but not our seasoned engineers and this is evident as Steve compares a retrofit to, of all things, a game of snooker; “cue” a captivating listen. Steve shares fascinating stories from a customer base as diverse as Whitehall, London to Gulf Aviation and while we know that a MICROMASTER makes a motor turn, in this podcast we discover what makes both Steve and a retrofit project tick along smoothly. With a nod to the future Steve also shares his thoughts on the future digital developments that could benefit his day job as well as no doubt our customers too.
The song that Steve is dedicating to the MICROMASTER museum is The Clash’s “Should I stay, Or should I go” but unlike the dilemma in song’s title there’s no debate for listening to this podcast; you definitely should give it a go. Unfamiliar with the song mentioned? You can listen to it here.
Episode 3 is presented by Dave Holcroft, sales manager at Digital Enterprise Services who is also the author of this blog.
